Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Default installation of tp-smapi-dkms.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I started neverball to test the functionality of hdaps as joystick.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Skipping the laptop left and right had an inverted effect.
A look at dmesg revealed a wrong detection of my device:
hdaps: LENOVO ThinkPad X200 detected, setting orientation 7
* What outcome did you expect instead?
It should detect my ThinkPad X200s like this:
hdaps: LENOVO ThinkPad X200s detected, setting orientation 5
The correct orientation I found on ThinkWiki:

To fix the problem I added the following line to /etc/rc.local
echo 5 > /sys/devices/platform/hdaps/invert
