Could you do yaird --verbose --output=/tmp/pindakaas.img 2.6.14-1-686 lspci and post the output? The generated image, ls -lR /sys, and the output of 'yaird --test 2.6.14-1-686' and 'yaird --debug --output=/tmp/hagelslag.img 2.6.etc' may also help, but they are bigger; let's look at the --verbose output first.
