I confirm.

I've also solved the certificate problem. It was due to the fact I was
setting PERL_LWP_SSL_CA_PATH (because two years ago, the certificate
used by gforge.inria.fr was not in Debian's /etc/ssl/certs) and both
the behavior and the documentation of LWP::UserAgent are inconsistent.
I've reported the following bug for this:
