First time to open a book saved with older version. Popup diagnostic: This file/URL appears to be from a newer version of GnuCash. Work-around: According to http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2012-February/043349.html, there must be a newline after the first tag in the xml file. <gnc-v2\n The old version places a space there. .... and, in fact, breaking the line at that point creates a book that the new version CAN READ! .... but that's pretty weird.
