Package: scanlogd Version: 2.2.5-1 scanlogd's postinst script calls "/etc/init.d/scanlogd start" directly. The Debian Policy Manual strongly recommends using invoke-rc.d instead (see 9.3.3.2, "Running initscripts"). Please do so, to better follow the sysadmin's wishes about runlevels that scanlogd should run on (and, incidentally, will allow testing with piuparts, which uses policy-rc.d to prevent services from starting inside a chroot).
