While I agree in general and would actually be happy if this would be
possible, the terminal emulators shown with "update-alternatives
--list x-terminal-emulator" do not accept common options which
pconsole needs to work. Especially the geometry options are
syntactically different between some of them:
E.g. both, lxterminal and xterm are quite picky about option syntax.
lxterminal only accepts "--geometry=…", not "--geometry …", not
"-geometry=…" and not "-geometry …" while xterm only accepts
"-geometry …". Meh.
It though may make more sense to use lxterm instead of xterm as
default to be at least a little bit more sensible with the default
value.
