Package: deja-dup Version: 20.2-2.1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I have been backing up files onto an external hard disk, using deja-dup, with no significant problems backing up. However, I recently needed to restore everything, and I initially managed to restore most of it, but some of the files later in the alphabet failed to restore. I think some of this was perhaps related to there being slightly bad wiring to the external hard drive which means that occasionally it would disconnect then reconnect, and deja-dup would stop restoring and would not start again. To start again I then tried to restore again from the beginning, which would be inconvenient enough, but now it has been failing to restore at all. Since I have changed many of the other files since I first restored, I have not been restoring into the original place (as was originally mostly successful), but have tried restoring either everything into a specific file, or restoring a specific file, by going into the desired folder in nautilus, right clicking, and selecting "Restore Missing Files...".
