Package: simple-scan Version: 3.10.0-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
Cropping images in simple-scan is very slow, which makes it pretty painful to use the program. I believe this has been already fixed in the newest upstream version, so refreshing the version shipped in Debian should be enough to resolve this bug. Here's an Ubuntu bug about the same issue with more details: https://bugs.launchpad.net/simple-scan/+bug/1245678 -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages simple-scan depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.18.0-1 ii gnome-icon-theme 3.10.0-1 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libcolord1 1.0.2-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.28.2-1+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.4-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.8.6-1 ii libgudev-1.0-0 204-5 ii libsane 1.0.23-3+b1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.8.2-1 ii xdg-utils 1.1.0~rc1+git20111210-7 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 simple-scan recommends no packages. simple-scan suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
