I don't have Hexen II myself, so someone who does will need to look into
this.
It would probably be useful if you could repeat the unpatched
installation in Wine and send its version number, and the
size/md5/sha1/sha256 of the unpatched pak files, to this bug; then
install the patch and send the same checksums. That way, g-d-p can at
least be taught to recognize this version and report it as unsupported?
Also, where did you get this particular version of Hexen II? (original
retail CD, budget label re-release, gog.com, Steam, etc.)
