Thanks for the bug report and your efforts to improve Debian, I forwarded it upstream to the URL above. With the test case, I get: $ ./testkeys Couldn't initialize SDL: No available video device I just uploaded 2.0.1 and it compiled fine for most architectures, so you will have it available soon. If you could test whether the bug and the fix still happens and communicate with upstream to make sure that they understand it and fix it, it would be great.
