Package: flvtool2
Followup-For: Bug #731462

Dear Maintainer,

when looking at this bug, I noticed several issues with the packaging:
- the package is indicated being Architecture: any, whereas it ships
  only architecture independent files
- the package is (certainly mistakenly) built as a native package with
an hyphen in the version number, instead of a non-native package.
- bin/flvtools indicates a ruby/bin/ruby1.9.1 but does not depend on
  ruby1.9.1 (but build-depends on ruby1.8).
- The VCs fields point to a non existing repository

and so on...

As fixing all these issues with an NMU would be very invasive and given
that the source of this program is distributed as a Ruby gem on
rubygems.org, I would strongly advise moving this package under the
umbrella of this package by the Ruby team, and benefit from the unified
packaging workflow for Ruby packages.

What do you think?

The Ruby team is very eager to get rid of ruby1.8 as soon as possible
and needs your cooperation. They wouldd be happy to provide
assistance/help to maintain this package.

Best regards,

Cédric
