Wei Lui had also added msi support for xen hvm domUs on qemu:
http://git.qemu.org/?p=qemu.git;a=commit;h=f1dbf015dfb0aa7f66f710a1f1bc58b662951de2

Virtio devices are correctly working on windows and old linux, I'll try to
find the solution for newer linux too without using pci=nomsi.
With Konrad patch:
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2013-12/msg02639.html
will be possible use virtio net or block and xen pv for all other.
Other features using virtio, for example vdagent works also with xen pv
driver active and have only this problem with newer linux that need a
workaround for now.
Any help is appreciated.
