Yes, the button is still there. It is the "Decrypt" button (Decrypt or
verify the message with OpenPGP), I think same as when you click the
"OpenPGP menu" -> "Decrypt/Verify"
OK, you're talking about the button in the top-level toolbar when
looking at the message, correct?
I am talking about the button in the top menu, next to "write", "reply",
"forward". It might not be there by default, but can be added by
right-clicking on the bar and selecting "customize"
I just want to be clear about what the concern is here: i think the
problem is that decryption/verification happens *even though* you have
"Automatically decrypt/verify messages" unchecked. So it sounds like a
problem with that setting.
the problem is:
1) sometimes icedove asks for my passphrase on start and also throughout
my session in random intervals
2) icedove asks for my passphrase everytime I select an encrypted
message in my sent folder
especially annoying behavior is when I am going through my sent folder,
every time I hit an encrypted message a window pops up and asks me for
my passphrase
Is that correct? or is this a separate concern about passphrase
prompting in general?
passphrase prompting in general is of course a good think. But only when
I tell to decrypt/sign a message, not automatically
