Package: geximon
Version: 0.7.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

it would be nice if geximon could use sudo not only to run exim
commands, but also to access the logfile itself (reading a sudo cat
logfile pipe, or maybe using tail -n somenumber).

If that's in place, it is just a small step to use ssh to access
logfiles and exim commands on a remote server, which reduces the number
of not necessariy programs on the mailserver itself and is (probably)
faster than X-Forwarding over ssh.

Thanks,
Joachim
