Package: macchanger
Version: 1.5.0-9
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

The OUI list (the list of known mac-address vendors) packaged with macchanger
seems real old. The IEEE publishes updates of the data daily in text form
(http://standards.ieee.org/develop/regauth/oui/oui.txt). The description page
is http://standards.ieee.org/develop/regauth/oui/public.html.

The IEEE current list has 18,804 entries. The list packaged with macchanger has
14,700 entries.

The IEEE current list includes the registered mailing address for each vendor,
which is parsed out of the macchanger version of the list (awk '/(hex)/{print
gensub("-"," ","g",$1) " " $3}' oui.txt > OUI.list)

Maybe also include in the man page a section FILES mentioning this so people
can occassionally update the file if they want to
