Package: upower
Followup-For: Bug #728762
This issue has been completely resolved for me by a recent update. To
be clear:
- I can shutdown/suspend/etc from the XFCE panel menu
- hibernate/suspend work when closing the laptop lid
- USB pen drives appear in Thunar and can be mounted
- running `xfce4-power-manager --dump | grep Auth` now shows:
Authorised to suspend: True
Authorised to hibernate: True
Authorised to shutdown: True
Authorised to spin down hard disks: True
- running `ck-list-sessions | grep active` now shows:
active = TRUE
But the recent updates did not touch upower (which is still at version
0.9.23-2+b1), so it looks to me like it may not have been this package
that was causing the problem.
