Package: jfbterm Severity: normal Tags: d-i This bug currently affects all installs done in Arabic with D-I.
This happens when using the etch_d-i netinst CD. The display is broken in 2nd stage when using Arabic as installation language. The dialog windows have misaligned borders as it may seen on the screenshot available at http://www.perrier.eu.org/~bubulle/d-i_2nd_arabic.png Eugeniy Meshcheryakov suggested that: "This comes from jfbterm that handles zero-width characters like characters with width 1." Do you think this can be fixed? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13-1-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
