Hello,

I just upgraded the acpidump package from wheezy to current sid, which
replaced it with a transitional package bringing in acpica-tools instead.
Which is fine.

But somehow the "turbostat" binary disappeared without even being mentioned
anywhere in the current documentation. I find this a bit surprising, given
that it was listed in the old acpidump package description:

Package: acpidump
Version: 20100513-3.1
Installed-Size: 78
Maintainer: Mattia Dongili <malat...@debian.org>
Architecture: amd64
Depends: perl, libc6 (>= 2.7)
Description-en: utilities to dump system's ACPI tables to an ASCII file
 This package contains a small collection of utilities ACPI system
 tables:
  * acpidump: to dump tables
  * acpixtract: to convert ASCII acpidump output to raw binary
  * turbostat: to gather performance statistics (x86 only)
 .
 Note: Upstream package is called pmtools.

I'd at least expect a note somewhere in the changelog explaining why it
was dropped, or a pointer to the package where it's currently found, or
whatever. Ignoring it just leads to these completely unnecessary bug
reports.

As it is now, with no explanation at all, it looks like the acpidump
package has been replaced by an unrelated package without the same
functionality. That's not a transition in my eyes...
