Package: git-bzr Version: 1:1.8.4.3-1 Severity: important It seems git-bzr fails to detect the conversion of a file into a symlink, or replacing a file with a symlink...
When using git-bzr with remote: bzr::lp:ltsp In a bzr checkout, the file: server/share/ltsp/plugins/ltsp-build-client/Ubuntu/010-debootstrap Is a symlink to ../Debian/010-debootstrap, which happened in bzr revision: 2375 Stéphane Graber 2012-08-02 Ubuntu: Use 010-debootstrap from Debian Which the git branch represents as: commit 5a8cbca627829c18ebeff37f6d06663b6b72b4b5 Author: Stéphane Graber <stgra...@ubuntu.com> Date: Thu Aug 2 13:20:31 2012 -0400 Ubuntu: Use 010-debootstrap from Debian But that commit is an empty commit, as far as I can tell... In the git checkout, it's not a symlink, but the old file from before commit 5a8cbca627829c18ebeff37f6d06663b6b72b4b5. Other than that, it seems to work quite nicely... :) Also tested with 1:1.8.5.1-1 on sid, and 1:1.8.4~rc3-1~bpo70+1 with wheezy-backports, for what it's worth. live well, vagrant -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-bzr depends on: ii git 1:1.8.4.3-1 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-bzrlib 2.6.0-3 git-bzr recommends no packages.
