Package: src:linux Version: 3.2.51-1 Followup-For: Bug #698821 I would like to ping this bug: debian is not installable on latest Areca controllers like ARC-12x4, and they are out since many months now.
The latest driver is available from this page: http://www.areca.com.tw/support/main.htm and the latest version at the time of this writing is this one: http://www.areca.us/support/s_linux/driver/arcmsr-1.30.0X.16-131015.zip By compiling it by hand it works fine, but this does not solve the problem of unattended kernel updates and new installations. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 3.2.0-4-amd64 (debian-ker...@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Debian 4.6.3-14) ) #1 SMP Debian 3.2.51-1 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-amd64 root=/dev/mapper/vg1-root ro quiet ** Model information sys_vendor: Supermicro product_name: H8DM8-2 product_version: 1234567890 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
