I don't really know what hdf5 is ... :-) but I remember working on fixing upgrade issues for wheezy (got this into wheezy after all?) and having some ideas how this could be improved in general ... Looking at the git repository, this seems to miss a lot of tags. If you have some unpushed tags lying around, please push them. Otherwise they need to be reconstructed ...
