OK, so you are still active? I was contacted by the MIA team at start of October saying that they had had no response from any other jed team members so unless I wanted to adopt the packages they were going to be orphaned. I said I would do that, at least for jessie as I still use jed as primary editor (although I'm trying to move to emacs so I don't need to maintain it too long!) So I too was under the impression that no-one was really looking after these packages any more. I'd be glad to hear that I'm not the only one that cares.
