At the moment Spdy support is enabled only in package "nginx-extra"
but not in "nginx-full". Perhaps I do not understand well enough
justification behind decision to include Spdy support only to
"nginx-extras" but it appears to me that "nginx-full" shall have Spdy
support too since Spdy is merely an (optional) improvement to HTTPS
performance.
Spdy needs no additional dependencies. When I built nginx-full with
Spdy the only dependency that changed as result is the following:
"zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4)" --> "zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.0)"
Spdy is not enabled by default in run time. It must be activated in
configuration so I believe it should be safe to build "nginx-full"
with Spdy support.
