Right, patch as mail body is not a problem.

Anyhow, I think I will make a release soon and not include it for now
because there are some considerations (see below) and OTOH I need to get
a new version out of the door ASAP.

The reason is that it changes acng.conf and I wanted to avoid modifying
it for the next time before I integrate UCF properly. Because otherwise,
I would bother users with yet another dpkg's conffile question and this
time it's something they should not just skip like it was the case in
the previous times.

I will also alter it a little bit because

a) I think, passwort related data should go into security.conf
b) I don't like adding debian specific information to acng.conf and
totally replace it by debconf managed settings. Instead, I would call
the second conf file "zz_debconf_settings.conf" so it would just
replace the settings in acng.conf . Maybe this is not optimal either
because some user would wonder why the changes in acng.conf are no
longer effective. On the other hand, the new preamble in acng.conf would
tell her about the way the things are managed now. And here comes the
problem... I didn't want to change the upper part of acng.conf until ucf
integration is done.

Maybe it won't even be managed with ucf since as far as I can see, it
lacks a certain feature which I expected it to have... i.e. if you want
to know: a way to instrument ucfr with a set of copies of the old
conffile versions from my svn. It's something I have to discuss with
its developers.

Regards,
Eduard.
