Package: doc-base Version: 0.10.5 Severity: normal Hi,
It would be nice if doc-base could support the epub format for doc-base documents. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB The similar bug for the OpenDocument Text format is found at: http://bugs.debian.org/477306 (from A.D. 2008) but there have been no action over 5 years. Debian doc-base Manual section 2.3.2.2 (Format sections) needs update too. Addressing fundamental program design issues such as listing translation documents together to make it easy to see and providing localized explanation texts are difficult but adding support for newer popular format entries should not be too hard. It's about time we take care these. I also think useless entry for SGML should be marked deprecated.
