Package: apt-cacher-ng Version: 0.7.19-1 Severity: important I get this:
Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/pool/updates/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-common_1.7.7-17_all.deb Size mismatch So I have a look: $ cd /var/cache/apt-cacher-ng $ ls -l ./security.debian.org/pool/updates/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-common_1.7.7-17_all.deb -rw-r--r-- 1 apt-cacher-ng apt-cacher-ng 2415842 Nov 22 20:11 ./security.debian.org/pool/updates/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-common_1.7.7-17_all.deb ... and security.debian.org/dists/squeeze/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz says xserver-xorg-core has size 2415842 (just the same), while xserver-common is supposed to have size 58712. Interesting. So I look in the downloaded xserver-common_1.7.7-17_all.deb's control file, and it actually *is* xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.7-17. So, it looks to me that apt-cacher-ng is sometimes confusing files with each other and saving + serving the wrong ones. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.52 ii dpkg 1.17.1 ii init-system-helpers 1.13 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-5 ii libc6 2.17-96 ii libgcc1 1:4.8.2-5 ii liblzma5 5.1.1alpha+20120614-2 ii libstdc++6 4.8.2-5 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-24 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng recommends: ii avahi-daemon 0.6.31-2 ii ed 1.9-2 ii perl 5.18.1-4 Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng suggests: ii curl 7.33.0-1 pn doc-base <none> ii libfuse2 2.9.2-4 ii wget 1.14-5 -- Configuration Files: /etc/apt-cacher-ng/backends_debian changed: http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ /etc/apt-cacher-ng/security.conf [Errno 13] Permission denied: u'/etc/apt-cacher-ng/security.conf' -- debconf information: apt-cacher-ng/gentargetmode: No automated setup -- intrigeri | GnuPG key @ https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/intrigeri/intrigeri.asc | OTR fingerprint @ https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/intrigeri/otr.asc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
