The webserver sometimes returns different webpages, and I have already modified get-upstream-version.pl to support two variants. Maybe you have found a third variant, but I don't know that before looking at the html source code of the page get-upstream-version.pl was parsing at the time of the error. I'm considering to modify get-upstream-version.pl to automatically save the html page in /var/cache/flashplugin-nonfree/ so that it's available for further investigation.
