An ITA bug on nvi will block someone else who wants to adopt it, and therefore I don't plan on doing that until I'm actually ready to commit to adopting it myself. In the meantime, the orphaned status is correct. I read debian-release and debian-qa, so hopefully I'll notice if someone starts looking seriously at removing it from the archive.
