I've got the same problem trying to compile gridcoin from the git repo: make -f makefile.unix /bin/sh ../share/genbuild.sh obj/build.h ... obj/alert.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [litecoind] Error 1
