Package: wpasupplicant Version: 1.0-3ubuntu4 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
I was debugging an issue we got in Ubuntu due to enabling CONFIG_P2P... Turns out it's fairly complicated to debug issues in wpa when they are reported, since most people won't have debug symbols installed for wpasupplicant. It would be useful to provide wpasupplicant-dbg at least to allow installing the debug packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers trusty-updates APT policy: (500, 'trusty-updates'), (500, 'trusty-security'), (500, 'trusty'), (100, 'trusty-backports'), (50, 'trusty-proposed') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 armhf Kernel: Linux 3.12.0-1-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages wpasupplicant depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3ubuntu2 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-41ubuntu3 ii libc6 2.17-93ubuntu4 ii libdbus-1-3 1.6.12-0ubuntu10 ii libnl-3-200 3.2.16-0ubuntu1 ii libnl-genl-3-200 3.2.16-0ubuntu1 ii libpcsclite1 1.8.6-3ubuntu1b1 ii libreadline5 5.2+dfsg-2 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-3ubuntu1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian11ubuntu4 wpasupplicant recommends no packages.
