Package: man2html Version: 1.6g-6 I tried to use the locahost cgi scripts through lighttpd to browse/read the manual pages. 'cgi-bin/man/mansearch?query=help' came up with no results. Applying
chmod a+r /var/cache/man2html/man2html.swish++.index fixed this problem: The query came up with many results. Note: lighttpd runs as www-data. The original permissions on this file in /var/cache/man2html owned by root had no o+r permissions. The installation is close to vanilla wheezy (kde) and up-to-date.
