Alioth currently appears to be down, but if I remember correctly, that
is actually Alberto's patch (as noted above, we both came up with
essentially the same fix independently), and other patches in VCS bump
the upstream version to 3.2.1rc (avoiding the need for a second round of
binNMUs when 3.2.1 comes out: 3.2.0rc is libopenscenegraph99,
3.2.0/3.2.1rc/3.2.1 are libopenscenegraph100, #722674) and fix #724753.
I hence suggest uploading the current VCS head (with its version
number corrected: having not been intended to be released, it currently
has the invalid 3.2.1-rc1-1 instead of 3.2.1~rc1-1) rather than just
this patch.
Upstream 3.2.1 was originally meant to be out in mid-October, but has
evidently been delayed; I can't find a reason or new estimate, but can't
look in the obvious place (osg-news) as its archive is private.
Reverse dependencies status as far as I can find in the BTS (I have
_not_ yet tested any myself; maintainers, if you have a real tracker,
please point us to it):
Probably just need a binNMU: choreonoid, ossim, simgear*, flightgear*
Need source upload, patch exists: libcitygml (#719396), osgearth
(#725383), fgrun* (#719402)
Broken (but won't be any more broken with this than it already is in
3.2.0rc): openwalnut (#718381 / #719388, latest upstream reported to
build but not work properly: http://www.openwalnut.org/issues/298)
*I wouldn't bother NMUing simgear/flightgear/fgrun, as these are
currently waiting on this bug to upload a new version.
