I can reproduce this bug using eog to display an image larger than 3138x3138 pixels on: 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation NV44 [GeForce 6200 LE] (rev a1) The testcase fastercrash.c triggers the bug, too. Has this issue been reported upstream, yet? Cheers, Thiemo
