Grmbl, it could have been a lead, at least.

corsac@scapa: ck-list-sessions
Session21:
        unix-user = '1000'
        realname = 'Yves-Alexis Perez'
        seat = 'Seat1'
        session-type = ''
        active = TRUE
        x11-display = ':0'
        x11-display-device = '/dev/tty7'
        display-device = ''
        remote-host-name = ''
        is-local = TRUE
        on-since = '2013-11-04T22:26:14.936936Z'
        login-session-id = '3'

So indeed, it looks like there's a consolekit issue.

ps aux |grep console
root      1268  0.0  0.1 2095972 4080 ?        Ssl  Nov02
0:01 /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon --no-daemon

Not too sure who starts it though.
