Package: udev Version: 0.071-1 Followup-For: Bug #337826
My pcmcia cf card adapter does not work anymore (and the sd/mmc slot of my laptop either). This happened with the change to 0.071-1 (with the removed hotplug support). If the card was inserted before the cf-card was detected and /dev/hdc and /dev/hdc1 were created. Now there is no listing of the hdc-devices in /proc/partitions and there is no message that any card is inserted in dmesg. The sd/mmc slot is handled by the pcmcia-cardmgr mechanism too.
