There is a circular dependency between python-pil and python-pil.imagetk: python-pil :Depends: mime-support | python-pil.imagetk python-pil.imagetk :Depends: python-pil (= 1.1.7+2.0.0-1.1) and the same for python3-pil: python3-pil :Depends: mime-support | python3-pil.imagetk python3-pil.imagetk :Depends: python3-pil (= 1.1.7+2.0.0-1.1) Circular dependencies are known to cause problems during upgrade between stable releases, so we should try to get rid of them.
