Package: dosfstools Severity: wishlist Some users don't know whether or not it is safe to exit dosfsck using Ctrl+C.
It would be great if you could please offer a "Quit Safely" option every time dosfsck asks a question in interactive mode. This choice should quit dosfsck. This option would calm the hearts of users who fear to use Ctrl+C in dosfsck. This would be helpful for dosfsck newbies who: * want to halt the machine, go to bed, and hire an expert the next day. * or want to start over and rerun dosfsck in "Yes to All" mode. * or want to start a Web browser or IRC client to get help, but don't know how to use Unix job control. Note: I have filed an equivalent feature request against e2fsck too: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63471 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
