I am interested in using the java bindings in OpenCV which apparently exist as of OpenCV 2.4.4. I am currently using https://github.com/jayrambhia/Install-OpenCV to generate the native library and jar file involved but compiling from source is time consuming and it would be great if they could be installed via apt.
