I tried both solutions separately -- removing libudev0 and downgrading libcairo2 to the version from wheezy -- and they both work for me. In my case, removing libudev0 is the better solution as I have no packages depending on it. Downgrading libcairo2 required me to downgrade / remove / install a few other packages. --- $ uname -smrv Linux 3.10-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.10.11-1 (2013-09-10) x86_64 $ lsb_release -cis Debian jessie ~$ aptitude versions '^google-talkplugin$' '^libcairo2$' '^iceweasel$' '^google-chrome-stable$' | tr -s ' ' Package google-chrome-stable: i 30.0.1599.114-1 stable 500 Package google-talkplugin: i 4.8.3.0-1 stable 500 Package iceweasel: i 17.0.9esr-1~deb7u1 stable,testing 500 Package libcairo2: p A 1.12.2-3 stable 500 i A 1.12.16-2 testing 500 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
