Package: libpaper
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

I have made a friendly fork of libpaper to fix many outstanding bugs.
I also aim to make libpaper more portable.

Please see the github repo at: https://github.com/rrthomas/libpaper

Bugs fixed:

Generate paper size list in papersize(5) (fixes Debian bug #486338)
Update build system for recent autotools; fixes Debian bug #496126
Add JIS B series paper sizes (patch from TeXLive; fixes Debian bug #403365).
Try LC_PAPER before falling back to default PAPERSIZE (patch from Tom
Callaway): fixes Debian bug #481213.
Add Polish translation of debconf templates by Michł Kułach (fixes Debian
bug #658159)
Add Turkish translation of debconf templates by Atila Koç (fixes Debian bug
#688293)
Fix Debian bug #594931 (patch from Frank Küster).
Fix Debian bug #693968 (patch from Colin Watson).
Fix Debian bug #700358 (patch from Colin Watson).

I have also closed one or two already-fixed bugs and merged some
identical bugs. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to fix the
remaining bugs easily too, and I intend to have a go.

Finally, I intend to make libpaper read its paper size list
dynamically, rather than having it compiled in.
