Package: xfce4-session Version: 4.10.1-3 Severity: normal Hi,
Sorry but I don't know where to address preferably this tiny issue. Currently my desktop session is a GNOME (Shell) one and I was curious about the following complain found in ~/.cache/gdm/session.log: [...] x-session-manager[5669]: WARNING: Could not parse desktop file xscreensaver.desktop or it references a not found TryExec binary For me, this seems to be due to /etc/xdg/autostart/xscreensaver.desktop provided by the xfce4-session package. Ok I may understand that this file is provided even without any xscreensaver package installed (and so it has not to be part of xscreensaver). But why then the GNOME session tries to do something with it as it is also specified: OnlyShowIn=XFCE; Regards, Patrice -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-session depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.10.0-2 ii libc6 2.17-93 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libdbus-1-3 1.7.6-2 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.100.2-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.28.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.4-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.22-1 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.0-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.0-1 ii libpangoft2-1.0-0 1.36.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libwnck22 2.30.7-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-1 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.10.0-5 ii libxfce4util6 4.10.1-1 ii libxfconf-0-2 4.10.0-2 ii multiarch-support 2.17-93 ii xfce4-settings 4.10.1-2 ii xfconf 4.10.0-2 Versions of packages xfce4-session recommends: ii consolekit 0.4.6-3+b1 ii dbus-x11 1.7.6-2 ii upower 0.9.23-2 ii x11-xserver-utils 7.7+1 ii xfdesktop4 4.10.2-3 ii xfwm4 4.10.1-2 pn xscreensaver <none> Versions of packages xfce4-session suggests: pn fortunes-mod <none> ii sudo 1.8.8-2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
