Package: fbi
Version: 2.07-10
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I wanted to run a slideshow on a set of directories. Doing it the usual way
$ find pictures_dir -type f | xargs fbi -a -t 10
results in the error
> ioctl VT_GETSTATE: Inappropriate ioctl for device (not a linux console?)
Doing
$ fbi -a -t 10 pictures_dir/picture*
results in a slideshow, but does not recurse the directory tree.
