Package: fbi Version: 2.07-10 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I wanted to run a slideshow on a set of directories. Doing it the usual way $ find pictures_dir -type f | xargs fbi -a -t 10 results in the error > ioctl VT_GETSTATE: Inappropriate ioctl for device (not a linux console?) Doing $ fbi -a -t 10 pictures_dir/picture* results in a slideshow, but does not recurse the directory tree. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.41 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fbi depends on: ii ghostscript 9.05~dfsg-8 ii libc6 2.17-93 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.32.0-1 ii libexif12 0.6.21-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.10.2-2 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgif4 4.1.6-10 ii libjpeg8 8d-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.49-4 ii libtiff4 3.9.7-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 fbi recommends no packages.
