I was to fast. I could reproduce it. And I think I solved it, but sadly I'm not sure how... I recompiled both ppracer and libsdl1.2 in a clean sid environment, installed the resultig packages, and it works again, but I don't know what exactly the problem is (my best guess is, that it is a problem with concurent libstdc++5 and 6 are being used... sometimes... but even that is just a rough guess).
