Package: bind9 Version: 9.8.4.dfsg.P1-6+nmu2+deb7u1 Severity: important Hello,
I applied the patch as described in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=656150 to the bind9 source downloaded from http://packages.debian.org/source/wheezy/bind9. On running this updated version of bind9, I noticed that bind9 simply would not start. I notice this in the daemon.log while trying to start bind9.
