Package: libreoffice-kde Version: 1:4.1.2-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Dragging cells around in Calc leaves LO in numb state, where no other action can be performed.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open LO Calc 2. Select few cells (say A1:A3) 3. Try to drag them to another position (say B4:B6) Results: LO does not perform requested action. User interface becomes unresponsive. No mouse actions or keyboard shortcuts do anything. This is due to LO being in "dragging" mode and hijacking all user input. Other UI elements (contents from other windows etc) draws as usual. One can switch to TTY using Ctrl+Alt+F1. Switching back to X "fixes" problem (LO will drag cells as requested, UI will become responsive again). I did not had patience to check whether LO will eventually drag cells without switching to TTY; I gave up after 8 minutes of no visual clue that anything is happening. Additional information: >From what I can tell, it happens only when LO uses KDE UI. When OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP variable is set to 'gnome' or 'none', this bug will not happen. Dragging cell is fast as always. This bug happens also on fresh profile and outside of KDE, as long as KDE UI is used in LO (tried fluxbox and jwm). I am using default "Oxygen" KDE style. This certainly did not happen in LO 3.6. I am not sure about 4.0, since I have used it for only brief amount of time (first holding unto 3.6 as long as possible, then upgrading to 4.1 when 4.1.2 was released). I can't check this on upstream LO builds, since they do not provide kde4 integration packages (and I am not looking forward to building LO from source). dpkg log files shows that there were X server upgrades this month, which may or may not be related. If that matters, I have Intel video card (lspci attached at the bottom of message) using i915 driver. I can provide additional details as requested.
