There is a typo, the correct option is "comment=systemd.automount" or alternatively x-systemd.automount. As for x-systemd.device-timeout=, you'll need to remove the "comment=" prefix, but it is possible that our util-linux is to old to parse that syntax. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
