Ah, okay. Understood, thanks for the explanation :-)

Then let me two suggestions to avoid confusion:

1/ It would be nice adding a comment in the POT template instructing 
translators about the purpose of these URLs.

2/ Or better yet, a more suitable approach would be using the 
recommended domains for documentation, such as "example.com|org|net|edu" 
as RFC 2606¹ suggests.
