A workaround for me is to select pdf file as printer, then print the pdf file to cd with gimp.
It's really annoying though, and has been around for a long time, even though it was marked as fixed a long time ago.
Will it ever be fixed in Wheezy?
I still have this bug printing to an Epson R300 with glabels, If I
choose "print to cd" nothing happens, the job is listed in cups with the
status "rendering completed".
