Package: alpine Version: 2.02+dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Alpine only supports S/MIME (and even then it cannot both encrypt and sign a message in a way it can be decrypted) and explicitly says it cannot work with PGP-type encryption. A workout is available but has severe limitations. But neither documentation nor website mention the reasons for that decision. Please reconsider. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages alpine depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.10.1+dfsg-5+deb7u1 ii libkrb5-3 1.10.1+dfsg-5+deb7u1 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.31-1+nmu2 ii libpam0g 1.1.3-7.1 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-2 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 ii mlock 8:2007f~dfsg-2 Versions of packages alpine recommends: ii alpine-doc 2.02+dfsg-2 Versions of packages alpine suggests: ii aspell 0.60.7~20110707-1 ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-transport-agent] 4.80-7 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
