Hi,
I did encounter the same problem today. I then tried an upgrade to unstable/3.8.5. There, I was able to see my calender and tasks. (There are other issues with the calender, so I cannot fully recommend to use this as a solution, but this is another bug). I suggest to mark this bug as closed for v3.8.5.
